ABOUT US

Real Farm.

We operate a real farm.  With the farm, we also provide real entertainment through our festival and corn maze.

Real People.

We are real ordinary people, who love original music and indie bands.  We are not corporate executives or typical music producers.

Real Music.

Our music is real.  Meaning, our indie bands are real people who create real original music using real or actual music instruments.

Who We Help

AFF Patriots Precision Rifle Team

The American Freedom Fund Patriots Precision Rifle Team was built to combat the loss of
team, mission, and connection for veterans after separation from military service. The isolation and lack of purpose that can creep in as veterans begin to build a life in the civilian world has been identified as one of the contributing factors to increasing veterans suicide rates nationwide. AFF seeks to provide the community, support and camaraderie may have been left behind in the military. Our team consists of an all-veteran roster based in Stevens County,

Washington. After launching in 2016, we began to participate in regional competitions in the Northwest and has since expanded to add team members and compete in matches around the nation. The Precision Rifle Team is based on a mission of mentorship and integration, helping members of our team find meaningful connection with their families, friends, and neighbor.

The American Freedom Fund is a 501(c)19/501(c)3 nonprofit, with an all-volunteer staff comprised of veterans and their family members. We don’t count our success in “documented saves,” which is a constant reminder of the darker moments some of our teammates have faced, but we do count our success in the rich and full lives we see our veteran teammates continue to experience.

Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary

"For 2022 FarmJam is excited to support and partner with the Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary (CVAS), which has served the animals and communities of Northeast Washington for 20 years."

Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary strives to improve the quality of life for both pets and people by providing humane society services. This includes shelter and rescue for pets in need, facilitating spay/neuter, and providing pet adoption services and affordable routine pet care such as vaccinations and microchipping.

There are no county or municipal shelters serving both cats and dogs in the widely dispersed small towns and rural homes in Northeast Washington, therefore, CVAS is called upon to provide a broad range of animal welfare services over a geographic area encompassing thousands of square miles.  CVAS operates solely through the generosity and community spirit of its donors and volunteers.

Over the last two decades, CVAS has evolved along with the communities it serves, and over the last three years their campus grounds, built in 1949, have received a well needed transformation thanks to sponsored projects, campaign donors and volunteers. To learn more about CVAS or donate visit their website cvasanctuary.org

The Vision

The FarmJam® vision is simple.  We provide a highly visible and professional platform for quality original music and independent bands to be seen, heard, produced, promoted, and distributed for others to learn about new and emerging music and entertainment.  What sprung from that foundation is the Pacific Northwest’s premier independent music festival that spotlights indie and original music in a major way.  FarmJam® connects music lovers with bands, farmers, ranchers, and the local community.

Our Approach

FarmJam® Music and Camping Festival is INDIE in a major way.  Thus, our mission is to support independent musicians who forge their own original path.  Then, we provide a quality experience for all attendees. In short, we connect indie bands to new fans.  This environment lets us bridge with the local community to promote agriculture and local food.  To help others, we also support local rural nonprofits that work endlessly to better the lives of those who need a helping hand.  Proceeds benefit these causes.  We will announce the charities in the near future.

Who We Are

Greg Knight

Meet the Owners

A third generation farming family envisioned an on-site music festival for many years, and once they decided to produce FarmJam they quickly brought on a team of professionals and volunteers to bring the vision to life.

FarmJam® owners embrace a team approach to volunteerism, creativity, innovation, and promoting the FREE spirit of marching to your own drum.  We bring consumers to the farm where they can engage the entertainers who make our music and the farmers who grow our food. We encourage entertainers, who refuse to be ruled by the unreasonableness of corporations or other external influences, to continue their independent path of making amazing original music.

Greg Knight

Greg loves to farm on the same ninety acres where his grandparents and parents raised alfalfa, wheat, oats, barley, pumpkins and corn.  His diverse background includes two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa, a career in private industry, and the Executive Director of a non-profit.  However, original music and farming are his passion.  Greg believes it’s important to bring consumers to the farmer and does so with a successful fall Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. FarmJam™ Music & Camping Festival is an extension of that passion.

Sponsorship

If you would like to sponsor the event (e.g. advertise, vend, or provide supplies and resources) or volunteer to join the team (e.g. event promoter, volunteer staff, security, etc.), give us a call at: 509.255.3905
